The death of a friend

I used to have several pets but some of my favorites were my dogs. I used  to have five of them. One by one they started dieing till only three were left, my favorite and two of his children. One day my favorite (whose name was Apollo) got really sick. He got so sick that he couldn't walk. I felt so sad because we've had him my whole life. I couldn't imagine life without him. their came a day when we couldn't get into his crate and we let him sleep in my bed. Several months later we had to take him to the vet. The vet said he was in a lot of pain and it would be best to put him to sleep. I cried, but we decided it was what was best for him to be put to sleep. My brother and my mom waited in the car while me and my dad stood with him. I told him goodbye and gave him one last kiss before he was gone. I was so sad. That night I cried myself to sleep. The next day I called my friend, Olivia. I told her the whole thing. She was a very good friend during the whole thing. When we buried him we put him in a box with all his favorite things including my new blanket and a doll pillow that he laid his head on at night. One thing we forgot to put in the box was his collar and I am really thankful about that because that is the only reason I get to sleep at night. 

Splinter the Hedgehog

Some one in our neighborhood was giving away a hedge hog he is so cute.  Yet sometimes he is really grumpy. (OK. most of the time he is really grumpy.)

Anticapation

My grandmother and grandfather who lives in North Carolina are coming to visit. I have not seen them in a long time. One thing that is strange about my family is I have three grandmothers and three grandfathers because my moms mom got divorced and remarried and my dads dad divorced and remarried. I have been waiting all day and it feels like they will never get here.

Co-op activities

Today we had MFW co-op. We talked about Noah's ark and how long it was. The ark was 300 cubits long (A cubit is 18 inches) It went all the way through our back yard through the park behind our house and halfway through the street behind that.

We also did some spanish learning words like feliz. We made a hand that had the words hola and adios.

The Snow Sisters

My friend and I are writing a book called The Snow Sisters. It is about two sisters and when their parents die they go live with their evil uncle who has a strange secret lying in the library of his mansion.This is the synopsis...

MFW Co-op

We are starting week three in "My Fathers World Creation to the Greeks."


We made a co-op based around the curriculum. We do the co-op with some of our good friends. In the co-op we are learning spanish with my mom's friend.
